"Our core group was originally part of a group serving a weekly meal, at a park, for homeless residents of Ft. Myers, Florida. Upon learning  that there were many homeless people living in our own community, Cape Coral, we gathered friends and started this ministry. A church near where many homeless people live outside shared their facility. In 2008 we began to serve what we call a meal and a prayer to our homeless neighbors."
